Machakos County CECM Health and Emergency Services Dr. Ancent Kituku has been asked to ensure all hospitals have drugs before resigning to vie for the Kangundo Parliamentary seat.

Speaking after issuing bursary cheques of 41 million to all day schools in Kangundo sub-county, the area MP Fabian Kyule Muli said it was sad when residents called him to intervene in the drug shortage menace in Kangundo level 4, and yet the CEC was from the area.

The legislator noted that before the CEC resigns he should ensure that all hospitals are equipped with drugs rather than coming to fight for the MP position when residents cannot access health services.

“Tell Kituku before he comes to disturb me in my work let him first ensure this hospital has drugs, let him not resign when the hospitals have no drugs and when he is done with that we shall congratulate him. All jobs are good don’t leave this one you have when you have a good one that can deliver to the residents,” he said.

The countY health boss has declared interest in Kangundo Parliamentary seat in the coming election where he will be going head to head with the incumbent Fabian Muli, Former MP Kyengo Katatha among others.
