Stella Mengele has strongly criticized her spiritual son, Ken Kijana, popularly known as Ndeke ya Muthanga, following his controversial remarks during a recent interview on the Obinna Show.
Taking to her Facebook page, Mengele expressed disappointment in Ndeke, urging him to control his tongue and stop attacking Kamba gospel artists at any given chance.
She pointed out that immaturity was a major challenge in the Kamba gospel industry and accused Ndeke of being among those fueling division.
Mengele questioned why Ndeke seemed intent on airing grievances in public.
“How can you attack Kamba gospel artists as a whole? Even if you have issues with your fellow artists, you shouldn’t expose them to outsiders. And if I may ask, what is it that you cannot forgive?” Stella posed.
She further warned Ndeke against looking down on the Kamba community, reminding him that the same people he was criticizing would be the first to stand by him in times of trouble.
“This is the community that has lifted you to where you are today. Do not forget to show respect, because if you continue on this path of disrespect, you will regret it. You have shamed yourself and us,” she stated.

Mengele also reflected on her own journey, saying that she was once helped by people who were not even her relatives, which is why she had extended a helping hand to Ndeke.
“I was supported by strangers, and that experience taught me to help others. I will continue supporting people, but I will not tolerate disrespect,” she declared.
