It was pomp and color in Kathiani Girls High School after Board of Management Chairperson Dr. Daniel Yumbya joined in to celebrate their dominance as the top school in Machakos County.
The former Machakos County CEC of Health couldn’t hold his happiness as he got down with the girls to celebrate the exemplary results.
Speaking during the celebrations, Dr. Yumbya called on the school’s board of management to always support their schools, as this promotes teamwork and thus produces good results.
He noted that the board of management should be on the fore front to support principals, teachers, and students rather than fighting them and bringing in challenges.
“Board members should work collaboratively with principals to address issues rather than becoming a burden to the school. If we tackle issues together it fosters a positive environment for learning and improvement,” said Dr. Yumbya.
