Faith Mumo Kawee, the top student in KCPE 2020 scored a Grade A minus in KCSE 2024.
Despite being the top student nationally after scoring 433 marks out of the possible 500, her dreams of joining Kenya High School were nearly shattered due to her family’s financial situation.
Matungulu MP Stephen Mule then stepped in and agreed to pay her fees for the entire 4 years in school.

Speaking in Matungulu after the release of the results, Mule expressed his joy with the results registered by Kawee and her colleagues who had been sponsored by him.
He revealed that 38 students had scored A (plain) and A( minus) in KCSE 2024 with 500 of them set to join the universities after attaining A mean grade of C (plus).
“Am very impressed with the results of KCSE 2024. 38 students that I sponsored in 2020 have gotten A and am taking 500 of them to university as they have met the threshold to join the higher learning institutions,” said Mule.
