Victor Munyaka asks Machakos residents to pray for him

Former Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has asked Machakos residents to pray for him so that the court case on the CAS appointment may be ruled in their favor

Speaking in Machakos Town, Munyaka noted that if the position is reinstated he will work diligently to bring development to the Country and ensure that after five years he becomes a Cabinet Secretary.

“My people, I plead with you to continue praying for me so that, the case in court may come to an end and we are given back our positions so that we can start developing the country,” said Munyaka.

“When we shall be reinstated I will work so hard like no other CAS to bring developments here and around the country, by the end of 5 years I will be a Minister. Is it bad for Machakos Town to produce a minister,” he added.

The High Court dismissed the appointment of 50 Chief Administrative Secretaries who had been appointed and sworn in by President William Ruto. This came after the Law Society of Kenya(LSK) filed a petition to the High Court challenging the appointment process.

The matter is still in court after Attorney General Justin Muturi appealed the ruling.

Victor Munyaka had been appointed CAS for the Ministry of Public Works, Lands, Housing and Urban Development.
