Section of Machakos MCAs hit out at Majority leader Wangondi

A section of MCAs allied to Machakos Town MP Caleb Mule have hit out at Machakos County Assembly majority leader Nicholas Nzioka Wangondi.

Speaking while accompanying the MP for a groundbreaking ceremony for the rehabilitation of the Kwa Kakuli dam in Kalama, the MCAs accused Wangondi of failing in his work.

“You have said Wavinya should not step in Kalama with Wangondi?” Maeke asked the locals and they agreed… “Governor Wavinya you have heard, the people have said they don’t want Wangondi again here,” Maeke said.

Mua MCA Francis Ngunga accused Wangondi of removing Kalama MCA Maeke from all committees.

“That weak man called Wangondi has removed Maeke from all committees and left him in one, You can put your spouse in the committees instead so that they can take the allowances. The people of Kalama will remain with their Maeke.” Ngunga said.

The vocal MCA also accused the Wavinya administration of failing promising to kick them out in the 2027 elections.
