MP Makau tells off Wavinya over Machakos County Bursaries

Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has come out guns blazing at Machakos County Government for the bursaries they dispersed to schools saying that the amount was small.

Speaking at Miumbuni Secondary School, Makau said that 40 Million for bursaries in the whole county was not manageable as the amount was small compared to what MPs were allocating.

“Work well and stop jokes, if you get out of here these people know you are lying to them because there are no drugs, Mbui has given 7 Million in Mitaboni Ward and you are giving 1 Million,” said Makau.

Makau also went ahead to declare that he was not interested in anyone’s seat at the moment rather it was time to work for the residents and not fight each other.

“At the moment Wavinya is our Governor, Mbui is the MP Kathiani and each one is at his or her own elective seat, let us work and stop saying that people are fighting us, it’s time to work,” the Mavoko MP added.

Makau had accompanied Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna Ngusya, Kitui Rural MP Bonny Mwalika, Machakos County Senator Agnes Kavindu, Machakos County CECs, MCAs, and other leaders.

Last Week, Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti launched 40M worth of Bursaries to be disbursed to the 40 wards of the County.
