Here’s how Mbooni Boys High School and St. Theresa Makueni Girls’ performed in the just released 2025 KCSE Results.
At Mbooni Boys High School, a total of 382 candidates sat for the 2025 KCSE examinations. 8 students had B+, 26 B, 58 B- ,72 C+ , 76 C, 86 C-, 44 D+, 11 D and 1 D -.
The school achieved a mean score for the year stood at 6.227 (grade C) marking a decline compared to the previous year where the school posted a mean score of 7.383, translating to a negative deviation of -1.156.

St. Theresa Makueni Girls’ Senior School had 327 candidates, the school produced 1 A, 12 A-, 36 B+,81 B, 90 B-, 59 C+, 35 C, 12 C- and 1 D.
The school attained a mean score of 8.0703 (B-), reflecting a positive deviation of +0.6994 from that of 2024.
The strong performance translated into an impressive university transition rate of 85.32 per cent, with 279 candidates qualifying for direct university entry, underscoring the school’s consistent academic improvement.
