Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti on 17th October named her new CECs. The list was also forwarded to Machakos County Assembly for vetting and approval.
Dr. Consolata Mutisya will be CEC Devolution, Onesmus Muia Kuyu CEC Finance and Economic Planning and Dr. Daniel Munyao Yumbya CEC Health. Yumbya has been a long-serving CEO of Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and resigned effective October 1, 2022.
Nathaniel Nganga will be the CEC Roads, Transport, and Public Works. In the first Assembly of Machakos, Nganga served as MCA and Deputy speaker.
Ex-Mavoko MP Aspirant and Director at Mavoko Water and Sewerage Company Philip Mutua Kilonzo will be the CEC Lands, Urban Development Housing, and Energy.
Bishop Dr. Joel Nzomo will be CEC Agriculture Food Security and Cooperative Development, Catherine Mutanu Raphael CEC Water, Irrigation, and Climate Change, and Joyce Mwikali Muindi CEC Education.
Sharon Nthoki Mutua will be CEC Trade, Industry, Tourism and Innovation, and Onesmus Muasya “Sky” the CEC Gender, Youth Sports, and Social welfare.
