Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu has blamed Kangundo Hospital health workers over the negligence of patients.
Speaking during a tour of the hospital, Kavindu demanded a report on the demise of a man after health workers failed to keep him in an oxygen machine.
“I demand a clear report as to why the patient was not attended from 10 am to 8 pm as he lacked oxygen. The man had difficulties in breathing.” Said Kavindu.
The senator reiterated failure to submit the report, can cause some health workers to lose their job or be jailed.
Kavindu also urged the Machakos county government through the health department to repair the Kangundo mortuary.
