Katangi Ward MCA Felix Ngui has been injured following chaos that erupted outside the Machakos County Assembly.

This comes after a communication that nine MCAs have been suspended from the County Assembly following chaos that erupted in the chambers yesterday.

The outspoken MCA was among those suspended, and he was attempting to access the assembly when he was injured.

The letter detailed that 9 MCAs had been suspended from attending proceedings in the assembly for 8 days.

The MCAs include Majority Leader Nicholas Kitavi Nzioka, Deputy Speaker Stephen Nzue Mwanthi, Minority Leader Julius Mbili Ndawa, Katangi Ward MCA Felix Mutunga Ngui, Chief Whip Raphael Lucky Nzau, Kangundo West MCA Charles Mbuva, Nominated MCAs Phoebe Koki, Anna Nthenya Ndilo, and Catherine Kyee.

The Katangi MCA alleged that he was injured by Sergeant-at-Arms officers who were stopping him from accessing the Assembly.
