Inside Makueni County Cabinet reshuffle

Makueni County Secretary announced a reshuffle affecting County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and Chief Officers.

Nicholas Masila Nzioka, Formerly overseeing the Gender, Children, Youth, Sports & Social Service Department has been moved to Lands Urban Planning and Development, Environment & Climate Change.

Eng. Peter Mumo Nyamai, Previously in charge of Trade, Marketing, Industry, Culture & Tourism Department was shifted to Gender, Children, Youth, Sports & Social Service.

Dr. Sonia Nzilani Musyoka was Transferred from Lands Urban Planning & Development, Environment & Climate Change to Trade, Marketing, Industry, culture and Tourism docket.

Daniel Mutuku Ndolo of agriculture and irrigation was moved to Devolution, Public Participation.

Irene Nduku Makau was moved from Devolution, Public Participation, County Administration & Special Programs to Education and Internship.

Japheth Mutuku Kiminza, Formerly overseeing Environment, Natural resources, Mining, and Climate change, is now assigned to livestock and Fisheries.

Dr. Victoria Kyalo of livestock and Fisheries was transferred to Agriculture and Irrigation.

Catherine Syombua Katuti, Previously handling Gender, Children, Youth, Sports, and social service was moved to Public service management.

Dr. Geoffrey Muthoka of public service management has been moved to Environment, Natural Resources, Mining, and Climate change.

Nicholas Mutisya Mutua of Education and Internship has been moved to Gender, Children, Youth, Sports, and Social Service.

These changes aim to streamline operations and optimize resource allocation within Makueni County’s administration.
