Bold Father Muvaa blasts leaders instigating Azimio demos

Catholic priest Father David Muvaa has shot at Azimio leaders instigating demos around the country.

The bold Father observed that such leaders know they have nothing to lose reason why they are okay with the violent demonstrations.

He urged locals from Tala ward to avoid going to such meetings and instead go to church insisting demos and destruction of property won’t help in bringing down the food prices.

“Even you leaders who are here let me tell you if you want to demonstrate go with your wife and kids. Last time you demonstrated did the food prices come down?” Father Muvaa asked.

“It is the businesses of our people which were destroyed, it was relationships that were destroyed and we will have much to lose as a country if the demos continue,” he added.

Muvaa spoke during a mass on Saturday evening and called for peace among Kenyans.

His sentiments were seconded by Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi who said no demos should be held in Machakos.

The DG expressed fear that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka may be collateral damage if a handshake between President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga happens.

Other leaders present include Tala and Matungulu ward Members of County Assemblies Jackson Ndaka and Raphael Nzau respectively.
