Nairobi County Public Service Board Chairman Thomas Kasoa has criticized Mwala MP Vincent Musau, alias Kawaya, for his track record.
Speaking in Mbiuni while giving Christmas gifts to locals Kasoa accused the MP of misusing Constituency Development Fund (CDF) money, claiming that despite receiving significant funds, Kawaya has little to show for it during his three terms in office.
He also alleged that the MP takes credit for projects funded by the World Bank and other organizations and presents them as his own achievements.
“Kawaya receives over 100 million shillings every year but he can not show projects worth the money he has received since 2013. He should not be taking pride in projects done by the World Bank like the electricity program because he didn’t contribute a cent,” said Kasoa.

Kasoa announced plans to start civic education in Mwala to help residents understand the role of their MP and what they should expect from him.
“Soon we will start teaching you the functions of the MP so that you can be enlightened and know what to do,” Kasoa disclosed.
