Director of coordination in the office of State House spokesperson Boniface Musambi has revealed why former Cabinet Secretary Penina Malonza was not reinstated.
During an interview on Mwatu FM Radio, Musambi said that it was sad to see some leaders from Kitui County go to the President to tell him not to retain Malonza as CS.
“Leaders from the Kamba community who are in big positions do not speak well about each other. For example, leaders from Kitui used to go to statehouse to speak ill of Penina and she was dismissed,” said Musambi.
He went ahead to condemn Kamba leaders for not pitching support for other leaders rather they fight them with all their strength.
“Most of our leaders when they see you support something or if you support UDA instead of holding your hand, giving you support they ensure that they fight you until you don’t make it,” Musambi added.
Peninah Malonza was among the few Cabinet Secretaries who did not make it back after the reshuffle.
