Makueni County Assembly Speaker Douglas Mbilu has come out guns blazing at Labour Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua over the Ukambani grassroots leaders’ Statehouse visit.
Taking to his Facebook page, Speaker Mbilu called out the Cabinet Secretary for claiming in the meeting that he (Mutua) had invited him Statehouse and he said he had to seek permission.
“CS. Dr. Alfred Mutua. You now know why I declined to pick up your calls on Monday. I knew you would twist the narrative as usual for you.”Mbilu said.
“Cease from quoting my name on the failed mobilization of elected leaders to the State House visit,” He added.

Mutua during the statehouse visit was quoted saying, “Nilipigia Speaker wa Makueni Mbilu simu ili akuje mkutano Statehouse leo, lakini akasema anaomba ruhusa kwanza, sijui kwa nani! Sijamuona, inamaanisha alinyimwa ruhusa.”
