Kindiki Commits to Tarmacking Road to Kalonzo’s Tseikuru Home

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has pledged to fast-track the construction and tarmacking of the road connecting Kyuso to Tseikuru.

Speaking during an empowerment meeting in Kitui County, the Deputy President addressed widespread criticism targeted at former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, who has faced backlash for failing to construct the road leading to his home area in Tseikuru.

“President Ruto has already authorized KSh 975 million for this road. A contractor has been assigned, and the project is underway. We’ll extend the road from Kyuso to our brother Kalonzo’s home in Tseikuru, then further to Tharaka,” said Kindiki.

He emphasized the project’s broader scope, noting it would also benefit Kisasi, Musweni, and other neighboring areas.

“If you see my big brother Kalonzo, tell him I’ll handle this. I respect him deeply, but this is work that must be done,” he added, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Several leaders allied to the Government have been critical of the Wiper leader for failing to ensure road leading to his rural home was constructed when he was Deputy President.
