Keep off Machakos County affairs- Wavinya warns President Ruto

Governor Wavinya Ndeti has asked President William Ruto to stop meddling in Machakos County affairs.

Speaking during a Sunday service at AIC Baraka, Mumbuni North Ward, the Governor alleged that the National Government was behind the chaos witnessed in Machakos County Assembly recently.

Wavinya alleged the fracas was being fuelled by CS Mutua, Machakos MP Caleb, his Mavoko and Mwala counterparts, Makau and Kawaya, asking the President to let her work.

“The people who are inciting the County Assembly of Machakos are Mutua, Caleb, Mwala MP Kawaya, and Mavoko MP Patrick Makau. You know who is using them. I want to tell His Excellency William Ruto that I respect him so much. You are the President, and I am the Governor. Please let me run the County of Machakos the way I should be running it.” Wavinya said.

“I have never had any issue supporting any Government programs that are for our people. The way I have given you stability to run, give me stability to work for the people of Machakos. You are elected, and I am elected. Your excellency, you are a senior leader, and they are dragging you through the mud. This is not your class. Kama ni Mbaya ni Mbaya. “A furious Governor Wavinya went on.

She further claimed the National Government didn’t have the interests of Machakos people at heart, citing demolitions in Athiriver that are set to leave hundreds homeless.

“His Excellency Ruto, you are coming to Ukambani. If you want us to welcome you respectfully, tell your people to stop disturbing me.” She concluded.

The Governor also threatened to lead Machakos residents to kick out the Speaker from office. Check out the story below;
