You’re a Toddler who Shouldn’t Argue with Ngilu- Kitui MCAs tell off Senator Kiio

Days after Kitui Senator Enoch Kiio Wambua and Kitui Wiper allied MCAs called on Governor Charity Ngilu to resign and focus on campaigning for ODM leader Raila Odinga, MCAs allied to Governor Ngilu have defended her saying that she has delivered for the people of Kitui.

Led by Minority Chief Whip and Kyangwithya West MCA Boniface Katumo the MCAs dismissed Kiio’s sentiments adding that Senator Kiio is a junior who should not be asking Governor Ngilu to resign. The MCAs allied to Governor Ngilu stated that they are the ones who sent her to campaign for Raila because the Kamba community has been outside the government for a long time and thus come August elections the Kamba community should be in government.

“I am very happy because of the joint Azimio la Umoja Rally held by the Ukambani Governors who came together to take us to the Government. I want to answer Senator Kiio that let him not be shocked as to who sent Ngilu to campaign for Raila. We are the ones who sent her there we as elected leaders of Kitui and the residents who gave her over 175,000 votes,” MCA Katumo said.

Katumo also cautioned Kiio to stop saying that they will force Governor Ngilu to resign because he is the cause of all the fights at the county Assembly that have been witnessed in the last four years and he has never helped Kitui residents in any way.

Katumo’s sentiments were echoed by James Ngunze who is Chuluni ward MCA who said that they will keep on supporting Raila Odinga and called on Governor Kivutha Kibwana and Alfred Mutua to continue ‘preaching’ Azimio la Umoja gospel in Ukambani.

“I want to tell Kiio to stop talking about our Governor who was voted in by many people and that she is not of his league. Kaluki Ngilu’s league is that of Kalonzo and Raila so I don’t know what you’re asking our Governor. We want to go where there is government and it’s through Raila Odinga,” Ngunze said.

Katumo also dismissed Senator Kiio as a political toddler who should not be arguing with Governor Ngilu.

“Ngilu has helped our people, we love her and we pray for her to God to give her energy to get us out of poverty because we don’t get enough money at the county and there is more at the National Level. Senator Kiio stay in your lane because you’re a toddler in politics and Ngilu isn’t your league. you should be arguing with us MCA’s who are of your league,” Katumo added.
