Yatta: New computer Lab unveiled at Katangi Township Primary

Yatta MP Robert Basil in collaboration with Computers For Schools Kenya and Habitat For Humanity Kenya and other partners launched a computer laboratory at Katangi Township Primary School in Katangi Ward.

The established facility marks a significant milestone in enhancing educational opportunities for students, providing them with access to modern equipment and resources.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the computer lab promises to serve as a dynamic space for exploration, discovery, and innovation, empowering pupils to cultivate critical thinking skills essential for success in the digital age.

MP Basil stressed the importance of ensuring universal access to computers and the internet, describing them as fundamental prerequisites for education in contemporary society.

He expressed his commitment to further enhancing connectivity by installing free WIFI in the school, facilitating seamless internet access for both students and educators.

The unveiling was witnessed by Machakos County CECM Education Dr. Consolata Mutisya, Katangi Ward MCA Felix Ngui among others.
