Former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has come out hard on Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka saying that he may not have enough candidates come 2022 to drum support for him.

Speaking at his Mua home in Machakos County where he had hosted a delegation of aspirants drawn from Makueni, Taita Taveta, Mombasa, and Kwale Counties, Muthama said that come 2022 team Ruto will have a majority of candidates and those who will not be aligned to the team will have a major fall.

“I hear there are some who are saying if he is man enough let him, field candidates, I want to tell you when we will be presenting papers of candidates we have as team Ruto, Kalonzo will be still looking for candidates to go and give certificates, ” he said.

“I will walk in tough politics and if you will be on the side to make sure you defeat a candidate aligned to Muthama, when you go home you will tell your wife to prepare something to calm you down, have just escaped by a whisker ” he added.

Muthama also took a swipe at those going around saying that he was auctioning the Kamba community saying they should think twice as he is looking for the good of the community.

“You hear people going around saying that Muthama is an auctioneer, What is Kalonzo worth? He is worth nothing and for once give me a chance and listen to me so that I can make arrangements to save this community, ” he pleaded

During the meeting, Muthama was bestowed by elders drawn from the region as the new Political Shepherd of the region.
