Wiper Leaders call out Mutyambai over extrajudicial killings, demand justice for Muli Nduva

A section of Leaders from the Wiper party have weighed in on extrajudicial killings that have been ongoing in the country with the latest incident being that of the death of Muli Nduva in unclear circumstances after he was arrested by police officers in Tala.

Speaking during the burial of Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu’s brother Martin Nzau Mbuku in Ngonda, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior called on the Inspector general Hillary Mutyambai to ensure that justice was served to the family of Muli Nduva.

Mutula noted that cases of extrajudicial killings have been rampant in the country saying that it is sad that a police officer is transferred when he commits murder rather than being charged.

“Those who killed the two Kianjokoma brothers are in jail. When a police officer commits murder he shouldn’t be transferred but charged. Why should I call Mutyambai, is he the law?” Mutula said.

” I want to tell Mutyambai that if those people are not arrested and you speak the same language as Mutula, you are a shame, in fact, Mutyambai might be the worst IG ever,” Mutula added.

Matungulu MP Stephen Mutinda Mule expressed his concerns over the death of Muli Nduva saying that such cases needed to be treated with urgency so as to stop another incident like that.

” As members of parliament, we are not going to entertain extrajudicial killings. Muli Nduva was arrested by police only for him to be found dead at the City mortuary after being taken to Kangundo and later Kenyatta Hospital if that is true. The family of Toto must get justice, we know that his skull was crushed badly,” Mule said.

According to a disputed police report, Muli Nduva was arrested by police In Tala and taken to Tala police Post for allegedly threatening his ex-lover. He was rushed to Kangundo Level 4 Hospital for treatment after informing the police that he took acid. He was later rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where he succumbed.

However, according to the post mortem, Muli Nduva had injuries in his head and private parts.
