Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has been ranked among the best governors in Kenya In a survey conducted between August and October 2024, securing the third position nationwide.
This ranking, conducted by Pollster ranking, evaluated leaders across seven regions based on performance, service delivery, and regional impact.
The county chiefs were recognized for their commitment to progressive policies and initiatives that have driven growth and development in their respective counties, regionally, prioritizing infrastructure improvement, healthcare expansion, and economic growth, earning them admiration from citizens.
The Full Ranking of Top Governors by Region saw Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, the governor of Mombasa ranked at position 1, Mohamed Aden Khalif of Mandera from North Eastern at position 2, Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos from Eastern at Position 3, Dr. Irungu Kang’ata of Murang’a, Central at 4, Patrick Ole Ntutu of Narok, Rift Valley at position 5, Kenneth Lusaka of Bungoma, western at 6, and Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o of Kisumu, Nyanza at position 7.
The pollster’s report highlighted that governors in these regions demonstrated exceptional governance, fiscal responsibility, and the ability to address pressing local issues, with each leader bringing notable progress and reform to their respective counties.
