Wavinya nominates ex-NTV News anchor as Communication Chief Officer

Daniel Mule Lemba popularly known as Dan Mule has been nominated by Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti as Chief Officer of Public Communications and E-Government.

Dan Mule was a Swahili News Anchor at NTV Kenya before he exited in December 2021 to take the position of Communication and Advocacy Specialist at AMREF.

Dan Mule is a trained teacher and a poet and he was the NTV’s Regional Editor before moving to AMREF.

He has a Master’s in Community Development and an ongoing Ph.D. in Communications, Artificial Intelligence, and also a Degree in Education.

Before joining Nation Media Group Mule was working as a casual laborer in Nakuru Cereal and Produce Board but he eventually applied for a job as a writer for Taifa Leo and Nation Newspaper before he moved to be the editor.

When asked about his nomination to be the Chief Officer of Communication in Machakos County, Mule said that it was an opportunity for him to share his skills in communication as well as improve service delivery in the County.

“I feel it’s an opportunity for me to use my experience and skills to help Machakos County improve service delivery through effective communication, which is a key element in achieving efficient service delivery,” said Mule.

He now joins a list of Journalists that have been appointed by various County Governments to work as Communication Officers.
