Wavinya is not at my level, I can’t Campaign against her – Muthama

On Thursday (20th January) Deputy President William Ruto together with his hustler brigade toured Machakos county in a bid to popularize United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party.

Johnson Muthama Nduya who is the chair of the UDA Party was accompanying DP Ruto and also drumming support for his gubernatorial bid. Muthama took the opportunity to trash Wavinya’s candidature by telling locals that she is not her equal and can’t campaign against her.

“I want to pleade with you my people because I always stood with you and defended you. Do you want to tell me I will come to campaign here and start crossing paths with Wavinya? Stop lowering my level.” Muthama urged the residents.

He also requested the residents that when his opponents come to them hunting for votes they ignore them.

“I want you to give me permission to go and ask for votes as the UDA chairman and when those people come here tell them that you are already supporting me,” Muthama said.

The Former senator added that health care was going to be a priority if he is elected and that he would make Kangundo level 4 hospital a level 5 Hospital. He added that small traders like Boda Boda, Mama Mboga, and hawkers will be exempted from taxes if he is elected as Machakos Governor in August.

Muthama also called upon Machakos residents as they support his gubernatorial bid to also support Deputy President William Ruto because he is the best choice for Kenyans.

Trashing Raila’s presidential ambition, Muthama stated that he has been supporting Raila but the Kamba community has never benefited from him and that in the coming elections the Kamba community will not support him.

“I have been supporting Raila but have never known the meaning of Tibim and Tialala but this time I won’t support the man of ‘vitendawili’ again,” he said.

Muthama assured DP Ruto that the Kamba community is rallying behind him and want to be in the next government.
