Wavinya asks opponents to prepare for a heated contest in 2022

Transport CAS Wavinya Ndeti has dispelled rumours that she will not be vying for Machakos Governor in 2022. Wavinya who spoke at a Graduation ceremony at Kyawango Academy asked her opponents to prepare for a heated contest come 2022.

“Some people are telling you I’m not in the race and I got a big position and will not be vying, we had gotten the seat in 2017 and in 2022 I am back for the seat,” Wavinya said.

“We had won the seat. Do not be troubled. My opponents who are being raised to entangle me, my votes are still there, I cannot be entangled.” She added.

The CAS urged parents to take care of the children as the schools closed. This is because of increased cases of kidnappings happening in the country in the last few months.

So far 3 candidates have expressed willingness to vie for Machakos governor on wiper ticket. They include CAS Wavinya Ndeti, Patrick Makau, and speaker Florence Mwangangi. Johnson Muthama of UDA and Eng. Francis Maliti of Maendeleo chap chap are also said to be eyeing the seat.
