Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has released a call recording between him and Machakos County head of protocol. In the recording, the head of protocol reveals that Mwengi Mutuse is using Governor Mutua to fight Kalembe ndile.
According to the Video, Muzahim reveals that the fight between Kalembe Ndile and Mwengi Mutuse began much earlier because they were interested in the same political seat. “Huyu Governor anatumiwa – this governor is being used.” Muzahim adds.
Sonko promises to stand with Kalembe Ndile in court over the closure of his hotel by Machakos County Government. “You will pay him a lot of money, closing his business and incarceration of the poor staff who have paid for health certificates.” Sonko says.
Muzahim adds that chemist owners in Machakos whose chemists were closed by Governor Mutua will be paid lots of money. However sonko disagrees with him and says the chemists were justified to be closed just like he himself did to those that were outside Mama Lucy Hospital in Nairobi.
“I have looked at Kalembes hotel, case it is in private land. The dam he has created himself and is not owned by the government. You can also sink a river and be urinating on it outside your father’s farm in machakos.” Sonko adds.
He further threatens to deal with Governor Mutua and Mutuse saying, “tutawanyorosha wawache ushenzi hata huyo mutuse awache ushenzi ashiki simu zangu. That is very wrong. They are not above the law to intimidate people.”
“Machakos is my home county, I will not accept him to threaten people. Even in Nairobi I arrest people, but I do it according to the law…Akiendelea kutisha watu nitakuja kumtoa kwa hio ofisi na nimchape makofi.”Nairobi Governor threatens.
Sonko also advised Mutua to accept criticism and warned that Mutua will not be in power forever. Muzahim agrees saying the term is almost over. Governor Sonko promises to give him a job invade he is fired by the Machakos County Government.
The Governor says he will come to have a drink at macha Bee club and will beat up all city council staff who dare come to the hotel.
