Musyi FM Presenter Onesmus Mwengei popularly known as Sir Mwenge has come out guns blazing at Ukambani bloggers.
Mwenge says that bloggers took advantage of the burial to garner views and get subscribers instead of giving respect to the family who were mourning their loved one.
“Bloggers are very happy when someone who was famous dies in short that person and the one who makes caskets have no difference, they are very happy because every day they will air about the plans of the funeral as if they know the dead,” Mwenge said.
“Many took advantage of Mercy’s death to garner more views and subscribers instead of mourning the death of Mercy,” he added.
Mwenge noted that after seeing how bloggers had taken advantage of the demise of Mercy he toned down to post her demise because many people used her demise to gain views.
“I said I would not post Mercy Mawia apart from the one I posted after learning her death. I do not want to take advantage because it’s my friend a colleague who had died and then it looks like I want to add more subscribers,” He went on.
