According to Paul sand harvesting has resulted in road damage and huge gulleys which causes a risk to the locals who use the roads everyday.
The MCA said the harvesting has to be stopped as several members of his wards have lost their lives after falling in the gulleys or being swept by fast moving waters that result from sand harvesting. The motion was supposed by all MCA’s who were present at the time of the legislation.
Hon.
