Rose Museo narrates how she narrowly escaped after protestors occupied Parliament

Makueni Woman Rep Rose Museo has narrated how she was handled by Gen Z and managed to escape during occupy Parliament protests.

In an interview Museo shared how they were left in the parliament building with nominated MP Jackson Kosgei both of whom are physically challenged.

The vocal women representative noted that the youths that came to rescue her had a good heart and had assured her of safety to where her car was.

“When they entered they were about 20 youths, they were rowdy because the broke down computers and pictures of the President. We were just the two of us me and Kosgei everyone had ran for safety even the sergeant at arms. A young boy with a rugged trouser came and told me that they shall not harm me because they wanted the president not us and he went ahead to eat my fruit salad, “said Museo.

“They divided themselves into groups and said that they would first take Kosgei out and then take me. They are very good people they told me that they would ensure am safe and they will not leave me there so that another team doesn’t harm me, ” she added.

During the ordeal Museo revelead that she had breathing problems as fear had engulfed her and she could not move swiftly.

“Due to fear I had breathing problems and they took me outside the Parliament chambers and they told me not to worry as they would ensure that I would arrive to my home safely. As they were taking me out we were met by plain clothes police and sergeant at arms, ” Museo went on.

“The youths gave me their phone and told me to call my driver to bring my car but due to where he had packed the car he did not make to come so my body guard found his way. But while we were finding a way to move out we were told that 200 youths had broken into Parliament so I was rushed to the lift but it was not working but let me tell you I have some kilos but 6 men carried me, “she added.
