State Department of Livestock PS Jonathan Mueke was Saturday shouted down by mourners while attending the funeral of Daniel Kimanzi Muanga in Kwa Vonza, Kitui Rural.
After condoling the family, Mueke began talking about the Government agenda as locals listened.
Things went south when he began talking of SHA and asking locals to register.
“There is the issue of health care, social health authority, the issue of health is very personal. The Swahili said you cannot laugh using someone’s else teeth. NHIF insured 9 million, SHA or taifa care now has 18 million people insured. How is this a bad thing?”Mueke said as locals shouted.

“Your health is very personal. When someone tells you not to register for SHA, ask them if you want me to die, because that is what it means,” Mueke added as shouting continued.
The PS challenged local leaders to follow the example of North Eastern leaders who he said never voted for Ruto but put aside their differences during the president’s visit to the region last week.
His microphone went off twice as he tried to calm the charged crowd. The mourners then broke out in hymn as he neared the end of his speech.
The funeral was attended by Several leaders including area MP Bonny Mwalika, MP Makali Mulu, Women Rep Irene Kasalu, Governor Malombe and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
