Philip Kaloki and Mutuse honored with presidential awards

President Uhuru Kenyatta has honored Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Board Chair Prof. Philip Kaloki, Agnes Muthama and Machakos County Chief of Staff Mwengi Mutuse with presidential awards.

This is According to a gazette notice dated 20th December 2019. Prof. Philip Kaloki and Agnes Muthama were honored with Elder of the order of Burning Spear (EBS) while Mutuse was awarded the order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya (OGW).

Prof. Philip Kaloki could not hide his joy and thanked the president through his twitter account saying, “I am deeply humbled to be a recipient of the award of Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear (EBS), an honor conferred to me by H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta as published in a gazette notice dated December 20th, 2019. “

“The award is a recognition of distinguished and outstanding service rendered to the nation in various capacities. Furthermore, I would like to appreciate the President for giving me an opportunity to serve as the Chairman, KMTC Board of Directors.” Kaloki added.

John Kiilu said, “Hongera Prof., When talent is placed in the right career path and accorded with the necessary support, wonders happen. The future is bright. Keep pressing on.”

Kyaula Junior added, “Congratulations! Professor Kaloki Makueni county Governor 2022.”

Mutuse thanked the president for considering him saying, “Thank you H.E the President Uhuru Kenyatta for conferring me with the Order Of Grand Warrior (OGW) State commendation. I am honoured and greatly humbled.”

Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua lauded President Uhuru,” I thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for recognizing the exemplary national service, of many years, of my Chief of Staff & respected advocate, Mr. Mwengi Mutuse, with the award of Order of the Grand Warrior (O.G.W). Well deserved recognition to a man who has stood for real democracy.”

Fred Kioko said, “Congratulations my brother for the accolade in honour of your distinguished service to the community. Hongera Ndugu.”

“Congratulations from the Nyadero’s , from your days at the UON when you fought from the trenches to ensure our country remains a democratic nation.” Charles Nyadero added.
