Needy Matungulu girl pleads for help to join Form One

A student from Tala Town in Matungulu Constituency is crying to well-wishers to come to her aid and help her continue with her studies.

Purity Mutinda Mutwiwa did her Kenya Certificate Of Primary Exams at Tala Township Primary and scored 328 marks.

The firstborn told Mauvoo News that her mother who is a single parent does not have any funds to enable her to further her studies.

“I did my KCPE exam last year at Tala Township Primary and got 328 marks but I have problems because my parent is a single parent and she cannot pay my school fees,” said Purity.

“My form one calling letter is for Bishop Okoth Girls High School and we do not know where it is, so I just plead for anyone to assist me go to high school,” she added.

Her mother who gave birth to twins recently said that all her savings that she had to take her daughter to Form one were consumed during her giving birth to the twins.

“I stay in Tala, my daughter finished her KCPE last year and got 328 marks. After her results I got a challenge because I was in the hospital giving birth and through that, I got to spend money that I had set to take to school,” said Purity’s mother.

“I have twins and now I am not able to take her to school because I am not working so I ask everyone that can assist my daughter to please help her go to school,” she added.

Form Ones are expected to join their respective Secondary Schools from 6th February 2023.
