Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna has hinted at joining the Government and abandoning the opposition.
The Wiper legislator stated that he is tired of being in opposition for a long time thus there is a need to take people to the Government to enjoy the fruits. Speaking in Mwingi West, Nguna said that all the Kamba leaders should be united so that they can lead the Kamba community to where there is development.
“If President Ruto performs well during this term, I’m taking the people of Mwingi West to the Government. I’m tired of staying in the opposition, even Kalonzo should be told that I’m tired and thus we should get into the Government together,” Nguna stated.
He added that joining the government will ensure that the Kamba community gets more development and that will be a boost to the community.
“I thank Governor Malombe for joining hands with PS Rono to discuss matters of water in Kitui. When we have a tarmac road all the way to Tseikuru it will be a benefit to us because our main problems in Ukambani are roads, electricity, and water,” he said.
Nguna also cautioned the Kamba leaders to stop infights between themselves urging them to respect each other and also respect the leaders appointed by President Ruto’s cabinet.
“We will get development when we unite and stop hating each other, if our President appointed CS Penina Malonza let him not be attacked by others. If he appointed PS Mueke let him be respected because they are our representatives in the Executive,” Nguna added.
He also called upon all the residents to allow the leaders to serve them and correct the leaders whenever go wrong without humiliating them.
