Mwingi Family cries for Justice after 2 members killed over land dispute

A family from Mwingi in Kitui County is crying for justice after two of their members were killed due to land issues.

Patrick Musyoka Ndana the family spokesperson told the media that his wife and son were slashed to death in the last two months.

Musyoka who is receiving treatment at a hospital in Nairobi said that no suspect has been arrested in connection with the attacks.

“I lost my wife in October, she was attacked and my son was attacked two weeks ago while on the farm. Directorate of Criminal Investigation officers came and took pictures but until now I have not heard any progress,” Patrick Musyoka said.

Musyoka noted that his life is in danger because the perpetrators of the crime who are close relatives are after his land.

“I have been receiving threats from a relative who told me that the same fate that befell my wife and son will befall me,” Patrick revealed.

“I would wish the investigations into the deaths are fast-tracked and the culprits are arrested so that I can have peace. Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome and DCI boss Amin Mohammed please do something,” he added.
