Mwala MP Defends 2024 Finance Bill, Blames Ruto for Rejecting

Mwala MP Eng. Vincent Musyoka alias Kawaya has blamed President William Ruto for rejecting the 2024 Finance Bill.

According to Kawaya, the 2024 Finance bill is one of the best things to ever happen to this country and Kenyans will lose more for rejecting it.

Expressing his disappointment the MP pointed out that the budget had allocated funds to tarmac one of the oldest roads in his constituency that has never been tarmacked since independence which is one of the few developments his voters would have benefitted from.

“Am I mad to vote No? How can I vote No to development,” questioned Kawaya.

Kawaya who also serves as the Chairman of the Energy committee said he had allocated 50 million to each constituency in the country to provide electricity to rural areas.

He noted that residents of his constituency have been begging him to bring electricity to their villages, all of which would be taken care of if the finance bill passed.

The MP also commended Gen Z for raising their concerns which he says had all been addressed.

According to Kawaya through the finance bill 2024, the government had made plans to reduce importation in the country for goods to be manufactured in the country. This he says could provide job opportunities for youths.

The MP however noted that some crooks had infiltrated the Gen Z movement to cause chaos.

Kawaya accused two local politicians from his constituency of organizing youths to disrupt his meetings in the name of Gen Z. The MP also claimed one of his opponents of inciting students to burn one of the technical universities in his constituency that he had put so much effort into building.
