Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse has called on Ukambani leaders to support the Ruto government.
This he says will enable them to get a share of big development projects which will benefit the people of Ukambani.
Mutuse who spoke while addressing residents of Mbitini ward in Makueni Constituency promised to unite all leaders from this region to be part of William Ruto Government.
“When I was the chief of Stadd in Machakos County during the reign of Governor Alfred Mutua we worked closely with Uhuru Kenyatta’s Government and the people of Machakos benefited a lot,” Mutuse Said.
Mutuse added that the time for the Kamba community to stay in opposition is over and its the time for the leaders in National Assembly to unite the people and lobby for development projects which will help the people get access to clean water, roads, and hospitals among other services.
Mwengi Mutuse was elected as MP Kibwezi West on Maendeleo Chap Chap ticket under Azimio Coalition but later moved to Kenya Kwanza after William Ruto was declared the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya.
