Former Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has accused CS Dr. Alfred Mutua of being an opportunist and not representing the Kamba Community in the Kenya Kwanza Government.
Munyaka says that unlike other leaders Mutua did not present the agendas of the Ukambani region when joining President Ruto’s team ahead of the 2022 general elections.
“When other leaders from other communities were joining Ruto’s team they negotiated for development in their regions but Mutua only asked for one request to be a minister,” said Munyaka speaking at local Kamba TV station.
According to Munyaka, Mutua was given the weakest ministry and he does not have any say in the Kenya Kwanza Government adding that is why Kambas in the government were been fired.
Munyaka also noted that Mutua is not in any position to unite the Kamba Community because he does not have the interest of the community at heart.
Munyaka further blamed Mutua of pushing other top Kamba leaders out of the government. The former MP also accused Mutua of been used by Ruto’s government to create a rift between the Kamba and Kikuyu communities.
“The plan to impeach Gachagua through a Kamba was very well calculated to ensure that Kambas and Kikuyu’s are divided and cannot work together in 2027,” He said.
He Praised wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka for taking the bold action and ensuring the his MPs voted in favour Gachagua.
