Mukuru: Family Appeals for Help after 2 children go missing

The family of two missing children from Mukuru kwa Reuben is appealing to the public for assistance in locating them.

The children, 14-year-old Nduku Mwendwa and one-and-a-half-year-old Angel Mwanzia went missing on December 31, 2024, at around 8:00 a.m. in Mukuru Kwa Reuben, Embakasi, Nairobi.

Nduku, who is mentally challenged, is a pupil at Kyatune Special School in Mutomo Sub-County, Kitui County. Her younger companion, Angel, is her niece. The circumstances under which the two disappeared remain unclear, leaving their family deeply distressed

The children’s father, Mwanzia, is urging anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward. He has provided contact numbers for direct communication or to report to the nearest police station.

“This is a very difficult time for our family. We are pleading with anyone who may have seen them or has any information to help us bring them home safely,” Mwanzia said.

Efforts are ongoing to trace the missing children, and police have assured the family of their commitment to resolving the matter.
