Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has called on Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti to stop frustrating residents who do not support her.
Speaking at Kinanie during the issuance of bursaries, Makau alleged that the county boss has been using police to arrest innocent residents who do not agree with her mode of governance.
“Anyone who is seen like they are not supporting the leadership of Machakos County is being frustrated by either closing down their businesses by citing they do not have licenses just to ensure they intimidate and frustrate them,” said Makau.
“These Gen Z when they enquire about the workings of the county government on social media the governor sends police so they can be arrested, she is using magistrates, ODPP so that she can frustrate them with cases that are not true,” he added.
The PSC commissioner went ahead to tell Wavinya Ndeti that she should wait for the 2027 elections noting that he would be on the ballot to ensure that sanity is brought to Machakos.
“I want to tell you wait for 2027 we shall bring sanity to Machakos County. I will be on the ballot so stop frustrating people who are supporting my bid, wait for 2027 we shall meet” The legislator added.
The MP called out on the magistrates at Machakos High Court and the ODPP to stop being used by the governor to frustrate people who are not in support of her.
