Kamba artist Maxwell Mwalimu has disclosed why he stopped going to church.
In a recent interview, Maxwell revealed that for four years, he used to play the keyboard before stopping going to church when the Pastor eyed his girlfriend.
“I used to go to church, I played keyboard for 4 years. I stopped going because the Pastor wanted my girlfriend. I left the girlfriend and the keyboard to the pastor and stopped attending church.” Maxwell said.
Maxwell Mwalimu added that he might never return to church but he still loves God.”I don’t see myself returning to church but I still Love God and Pray in the house alone.”
He however noted that his kids will go to church with his wife.
Maxwell in the interview added that he doesn’t do clout chasing and will never fall for such.
