Matuu MCA Judas Mbili Ndawa has apologized to locals just days after his office was set on fire and businesses raided by protestors.
Speaking at Matuu during the launch of a toilet project he revealed the recent state of insecurity witnessed was alarming and has left many people with fear.
“What happened at Matuu is very unfortunate. Such incidents should be cursed by everyone. But times and seasons belong to God we accept what happened,” MCA Mbili Ndawa said.
“I am human I am not an angel. I can make mistakes like anyone else. In case I have ever wronged anybody, I ask for forgiveness.Nobody should suffer because of me,” He added.
Ndawa said what happened within his Ward should never occur in any other area. He urged Matuu residents to safeguard their areas by enabling peace.
” You have witnessed what happened at Matuu and the entire country. Please pray for our country to have peace. Pray for Machakos County to have peace. Pray for Matuu to have peace.” He added
Ndawa reiterated that peace will enable people to operate businesses without fear and tension. He said a person with fear cannot concentrate on his work.
