A frustrated farmer in Matuu was forced to go back home with his bull after failing to sell it.
The man arrived at Matuu market in Yatta sub-county with his bull of borana breed estimated to weigh over 500 Kilograms with the hope of selling it.
His target was Ksh. 300,000 but no buyer was willing to take the bull home with such an amount.
According to reports, the highest bidder had Ksh.2 80,000 but the owner of the bull did not flinch.
He later chose to go back and wait for the next market day to see if he will sell for the desired price.
A section of online users congratulated the owner for refusing to sell his bull for less than Ksh. 300,000.
Here are some of the reactions concerning the bull;
“I can not buy such a cow without a gun because if one day it chooses to turn on you things will be ugly,” Mustafa Arap Martin said.
Wonderfully Made said, “Many don’t know the meaning of feeding your animals, so they would not understand this, congrats to the farmer,”
“I saw the bull being brought to the market and almost collapsed due to its size,” said Annette Ann Mutuku.
Wycliff Mutiso asked, “Where can I get such a bull, I am interested.
“Even if it was me I would have taken it back home just like the owner,” said Elizabeth Mwende.
