Matungulu East MCA Cosmus Ngula Masesi has returned to the wiper party after decamping from UDA.

The MCA was among Machakos MCA who met the Deputy President in Karen last year where about 10 MCAs from Machakos announced their support for Ruto.

Ngula recently accompanied the Deputy President and his brigade in January as they toured Matungulu and Kangundo constituencies. During the tour, he asked locals to rally behind DP Ruto.

Speaking while leading the erection of culverts at his Ward, Masesi said he had listened to the people and made up his mind that Wiper was the popular party and he was also behind Azimio La Umoja.

“I sat and consulted with the people of Matungulu East. We agreed I will vie with the wiper party and we should support other leaders in that party as we soon join Azimio La Umoja so that we can form the next Government after August elections.” MCA Masesi said.

He further asked locals to be careful with the person they elect as Machakos Governor in August blaming the current regime for failing in a lot of areas.

“I want to ask the people of Machakos to scrutinize the Governor that we will elect. The Governor will determine the development we get in the next 5 years until 2027. We all have seen the problems we had with the current leadership.” Masesi urged Machakos people.

“It’s not like we have no money. We usually have a budget not less than 12 billion. We shouldn’t have bad roads or problems with Water. A lot of boreholes like the one in Matungulu DEB aren’t working. The only challenge we have is the Machakos county executive.” Ngula went on.
