The First Lady of Makueni Anita Mutula and Chairperson of the Anita Mbinya Foundation, Tuesday led a food distribution program. The program’s aim was to reach 38 special schools and children’s homes across all six sub-counties in Makueni.
Anita highlighted the significance of altruism and expressed a heartfelt commitment to the well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children.
“Generosity is a true gift, particularly when infused with love. It’s not merely about the quantity of our contributions but the love we infuse into our acts of kindness. My passion for children runs deep, and our foundation will persistently seek additional partnerships to ensure the continuity of such commendable programs,” Anita said during the distribution.
The outreach effort reached 2,186 children, with the distribution of 6,000 kgs of maize flour and 2,400 liters of cooking oil. Anita Mutula’s leadership dedicated her commitment to uplifting the lives of the less fortunate.
“It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” she added.
