Kamba Benga Artist Kithungo Raha Maima has told off his colleague Ben Mbatha alias Kativui over a performance at Nairobi Downtown Sunday.
Maima had planned to perform at Downtown Grill opposite Athusi on Sunday 8th. Kativui on the other hand at Athusi just opposite Downtown.
Speaking to Sir Mwenge, Maima expressed frustration with Kativui saying it’s not the first time Kativui has planned a performance near him.
“There is no reason Mwenge you can put out posters that you will perform at Athusi and I see them and I still go ahead to put my posters that I perform at Downtown, it’s not strangers these are people who know each other,” Maima said.
Maima claimed that he had planned to perform there first and when Kativui put up posters he cancelled and let him proceed. However, he alleged that Kativui has still gone ahead to repeat the same.
“I planned first and he announced and I went ahead to cancel my initial performance. We put it again in the same venue and he still repeated the same. Should I keep quiet like that?” Maima posed.
