A brawl seems to be brewing between Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi and Machakos Town MP Caleb Mule.
Speaking during the burial of Benard Matheka Ndeti in Mua, Mwangangi told mourners if he was Caleb he would spend time at Machakos Whitehouse lobbying for development so at to match Former MP Munyaka’s development record.
“Your former MP Munyaka did so well, brought roads, built schools, and gave us Machakos university among other projects. During the last campaigns, we ate Unga and voted. We ask leaders to work together.” Mwangangi said.
“When our Governor is going out of her way to bring leaders together, your leader is running away (Caleb). Who will the Governor speak to about your issues if your elected leader are refusing to come? That’s why I say if I was an MP here I would sleep and wake up at Whitehouse looking for development to match Munyaka’s record.” The Deputy Governor added.
Mwangangi said some leaders were absent and it’s like they wanted to return the money they used to give Unga during campaigns, words seeming to be targeted to the area MP Caleb Mule.
