Leaders who don’t join Ukambani unity bid will be in a fix – Archbishop Ndambuki

ABC Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki who leads Ukambani leadership forum has warned that leaders who don’t join the unity bid of the region will be in a fix.

Ndambuki who led the meeting in ABC Bomani Tuesday also called on the community to become united so as not to miss out on Government in 2022.

“In this region, we will save ourselves when we stand together and stop fighting and respect each other no matter the party.” The Archbishop said.

“Whoever feels that they cannot join the Ukambani unity bid to save our people and not our interests will face it rough. We must be in the next Government and be part of the leadership and our development to be priorities by the next Government.” Ndambuki added.

Other leaders in the meeting included Governor Kibwana, UDA chair Johnstone Muthama, representatives from Akamba Council of Elders, Atumia Ma Thome, Akamba Clans Governing Council, and Association of Ukambani Church Leaders.

In the meeting, the leaders also discussed how to revamp the South Eastern Kenya Economic Bloc (SEKEB) and how to mobilize people to register en mass during the ongoing voter registration.
