Kibwana turns 67 as he recovers after Successful Surgery

Kivutha Kibwana, the Governor of Makueni County, celebrated his 67th birthday on Sunday (13th June) where he announced that he had undergone successful surgery and he was recovering.

This was after doctors operated on him to remove a growth in his back that had been a thorn in his flesh for years, Kibwana thanked God for the successful operation.

“I thank the Almighty for my successful surgery, continuing recovery, and today 67 years of life. Happy birthday to all my birth mates.” Kibwana in a Tweet said.

In an exclusive interview with a daily last week, Kibwana said he had been suffering from general body pains, including pain in his abdomen, back, kidney, arms, and legs, as well as headaches, for more than a year.

He spent 11 days at the Nairobi Hospital as doctors operated on his back after he complained of strange symptoms recently.
