Popular Benga Artist Ken Wa Maria has spoken on why he doesn’t do collabos with fellow artists.
Speaking during an interview, Wa Maria said that collaborations are hectic and they require a lot of work.
He noted that collaborations benefit artists who have not gained a following because they use the following of the big artists to market their own music.

“One problem with collaborations is that it benefits the person who is the less popular artist and not the person who has a following,” said Wa Maria.
“If by any mistake the song becomes a hit there comes a big problem where everyone is trying to own the song and these cases are so hard that even courts cannot solve,” he added.
He went ahead to note that he does not like anything that involves going to lawyers.
“I do not like going to lawyers and any business that involves going to lawyers I do not like I prefer goodwill business,” The artists added.
